Vanessa Ford explains plans for Maker House

I hope you all read today's article in the Downtown Tucsonan about Maker House, the exciting community art and craft creation space underway in the Historic Bates Mansion. Vanessa Ford, its Executive Director, will be one of our speakers this Tuesday at the Café.

All of a sudden, Downtown Tucson is exploding with new places, new centers, where anyone can come and make, craft, code, work, and construct stuff and collaborate with others in the process. This Tuesday's Café will bring all the groups behind this movement together. We'll learn what their vision is, who can participate, what costs will be involved, and what the new possibilities are.
